Wrap Top

This top was inspired by a short cut of fabric I got at the Textile Museum of Canada. I loved the colour, and the pattern reminded me of traditional Japanese designs.

The piece of fabric was too small to make a traditional shirt, so I designed this wrap top shape with diagonal pieces that fit perfectly within the short scrap. The wrap is similar to the front of a kimono or jinbei but with a more fitted, modern design.
